I wish to sincerely thank Dr Chintan Jadia, I had a nasty fall and hurt my right shoulder with a fracture and was in pain, I visited two hospitals and one said that you have to undergo for a Implant and another said that steel plates will be fitted.God was kind that I got to know Dr Chintan and he helped me and guided me that this problem can be resolved without any surgery. Dr. Chintan Jadia performed knee replacement for both my knees in late August at Namaha Hospital.I am in my 80s and was tentative about going down the surgical route at this age. Dr. Chintan was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to clear all my doubts about the suitability of surgery, choice of implant, how to manage other age related health conditions and what to expect during the post op recovery period. He also gave me confidence that it was possible to have the surgery done on both knees within a few days of each other.The facilities - especially the operating theatre - and the staff at Namaha Hospital were excellent. We were very well taken care of post operation. I was able to walk the day after the surgery and climb steps the following day. I was discharged a few days after the surgery and I was able to stand and walk from the car to my home. The swelling and pain largely subsided by week 1. The stitches were removed 2 weeks after surgery and I can now comfortably walk, sit and go about my day independently.I am astonished by the speed of the recovery.
